TV3: Kiwis caught up in Japanese cash crisis
TV3 in New Zealand has aired a report on Nova teachers not getting paid.
The jobs of hundreds of New Zealand teachers are under threat after financial concerns about one of Japan's biggest English language schools.
The Nova group has not paid some of its staff and is planning to close some of its schools.

Was this the TV channel that did a story glorifying Nova as a great place to work in Japan?
There was such a news report a few months ago from NZ, but I just cant find the link, does anyone have it?

I have heard some crazy rumors since Nova got into trouble recently but we all know that this one must be fake. Kiwi's don't have TV's, they are still using morse code to communicate between major cities.
It is exactly the same footage they used in the 'positive' story. They haven't even reedited, just a new 'beware of the dangers of teaching overseas' voice over.

Got told today our branch was closing and you should have seen the students faces. Boy what a demoralising situation. The funny thing is, I have talked to quite a few staff from different branches and the fact that Nova is stuffed is a shock to them. Every one of them thought I was mad to think like that. They said "No,no from now getting better" !!! And then they were selling that line to students, and of course encouraging them to buy more points. I dont know who is more deluded, me, the staff, monkey bridge or the students.
By the way his name is Saruhashi, which translated directly means Monkey Bridge.
