Where do you live?

One of the things I liked about Big Daikon is that you get people relating their experiences from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Toyama, to Tottori and Kagoshima.

LJ seems like a more Tokyo-Osaka crowd, but I could be wrong. Am I?

Fetus is no longer around so I think it's up for grabs.

I may change it later anyway.....

Yeah I think that's fair game. Fetus' last avatar was his best one anyway. I hope it didn't have anything to do with his dissapearance :D

Hey Shawn can we sticky this one to get as big a sample as possible?

perhaps this is obvious but it makes sense if you think about it; LJ is Eikaiwa-oriented, so you're looking at Tokyo/Osaka. JET is inaka-based so you're looking at freakier places. I think there's a lot to be said for both boards and both locations but... well, I'm in Tokyo and feel most at home on LJ...

Nagoya, God help me.
Who isn't drunk at 3 o'clock in the morning? So we get stiff once in a while. This is a free country isn't it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I want to buy it a drink, that's my business.

Yeah, next time I'll make it up by inviting you out for a drink in Nagoya. When you don't come, we'll be even.

Where you at Cow-man?

I'm up here in Kagawa... basking in the shadow of Sanuki Fuji.
we could have our own mini-gathering.

I'm down with that... always been jealous of those big city LJers, and their fancy parties ;)

I'll second that. Tianjin, China, the mainland version of Bum-f*ck nowhere.
That's what's great about getting involved with a foreigner. You can't take it personally. What's really terrific is that when we act in ways which might objectively...seem assholish, or incredibly annoying, they don't get upset at all. They just assume it's some national characteristic. -Barcelona

I'm in Himeji. My wife is from Kagawa though so we spend all our holidays there. What fun!

A very anonymous suburb somewhere west of Shinjuku. It's a big step up from my old NOVA place, though.

It's good to be back on LJ, BTW. :)
The President has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the President?
