Discusses how "Fight Club" is actually a continuation of and the adult story of "Calvin and Hobbes". It's actually really well written/presented!
This made for a decent read fella'. Cheers

Jesus wouldn't be impressed, though. :bye:

An ingenious hoax. Has to be. Consider the physics for a moment.

Notice now much splash there is and the way they all get to exactly the same point before falling in suddenly. There's a shelf an inch or two under the water.

Very well done though. They have caught the tone, look and feel of the new sports perfectly.

Excellent. Loved the "Blokes Pulling Above Their Weight" and "They Chucked a Sickie to be Here" (especially since they're all covering their faces).

Doesn't say why but my assumption is to simulate the g-forces....

Acceleration and braking as far as I could see. Seemed a bit exaggerated but praps not, the cars accelerate and brake that hard.

Yeah g-forces when you accelerate and brake. But I would have thought titling backward rather than going backward directly wouldn't be the same thing.

True, I don't know if a simulator can produce the real g force pushing you back into the seat or throwing you forward - I can't imagine how it could. What it can do is simulate the tilt of the car on its suspension caused by those forces.

Yeah agreed. Although I just can't see how that would actually simulate those g-forces accurately....

But manly men don't run away from danger, they embrace it. Personally, it seems like manly men back then spent a lot of time fighting off weasels.
