You can pretty much find any live sports on the web. Streaming the Pacific Nations right now. Fiji just threw the game (that's the only explanation I can think of for them losing that one) against Samoa. Next up, Tonga v Japan.

A torrent will give you a lot better quality than a stream but you will have to wait a day or two for someone to upload it.

I found finding a decent quality and reliable free stream quite difficult. In the end I found a paid streaming service that covers pretty much everything in the world there is to watch sportswise as well as a selection of ordinary UK TV. It costs about £5 a month on a cancel anytime basis. If I signed for a whole year then it would be cheaper.

I had a really good, reliable site for streaming. Each game gave you about 3 or 4 options to choose from, so once you discarded the low quality ones, or those with Polish commentary, you could always find a high quality stream, although not as good as a torrent. That site has been a bit iffy recently. Just searching each game will come with a bunch of hits. Might take a bit of time to find a good one but I have never missed anything due to not finding a stream.

And the same this week: it seems like Jsports has contracted to air only one test match a week, so we miss out on South Africa vs England and New Zealand vs Ireland.

Last week, an LJ-er kindly showed me where I could find torrents for the games not shown. This week, I'm free to watch the games live if I can find somewhere that streams them.

So! Can someone please tell me where I can find good-quality streaming? I'm willing to pay/subscribe as long as the quality is good.

Two great, close games. The Irish had the All Blacks scrambling for a droppie at the death, something not often seen, and luck favours the (bloody) Aussies again. Next up, the Poms and the Saffas. Hopefully another close one, with the English out on top.

Australia's luck continues. Wales played Santa Claus in that game far too often but even so they should have won it. Joubert didn't add to the spectacle with his enthusiasm for turning the game into a kind of place kicking contest.

Australia also seemed to have picked up the All Blacks habit of having an injury when there is a pressure lineout at the end of a frantic bit of play. I'm sure it is always legit but it always gives the defending team a great chance to catch their breath and reorganise themselves.

Hadn't heard about that, but it's a good idea. There's nothing worse than a close game with the leading team holding the ball in the ruck to run the clock down.

According to the TV commentator, the All Blacks were 12:1 favourites. I hope that somewhere some England supporter got rich off a bet that everyone said he was mad to make. Having said that, 12:1 is ridiculous. There's no doubt that the current New Zealand team plays magnificent rugby but, even allowing for that, there's no way they were 12 times more likely to win as England.

Still, England have shown the rest of the world how to beat the All Blacks, and I wonder if the other countries will emulate them.

I like to see the All Blacks get dusted occasionally between World Cups. It means they have to stop worrying about which of them has the coolest tattoos or the best spray tan, and concentrate on improving their rugby.
