I've been following this thread and what MacGyver says (above) is the salient point. "You get what you pay for" applies here. Bidding a contract without a teacher lined up or eagerly/enthusiastically waiting in the wings, getting the contract through low-balling, and then scrambling to find a drunken louse currently-unemployed foreign "teacher" on short notice and willing to walk in to shit conditions is a recipe sure to piss off everyone from day one.
