Remember a few pages back when someone posted about people having OJT scheduled next week?
What the hell happens to those poor suckers, err, um, souls?

I went past Tenjin Shintencho today and there was a film crew out the front filming some poor sucker's Nova card, voice tickets or something like that. The shutters were down and faxes were posted on the door. I wasn't going anywhere near it to take pics as I didn't want to be some poor gaijin sucker that used to work for nova on tv.

Good old days?! I seriously doubt it. NOVA has managed to piss off Australian, New Zealand, Canadian and UK recruiters. The NOVA disaster has been in the Australian press. It was exposed on New Zealand television. The Australian Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer, basically said that NOVA was fucked. Recruiting offices in Australia have shut down. The Canadian press have given NOVA bad press. NOVA haven'r exactly had a stella reputation in the UK since March this year...
Their pool of potential new slaves has shrunk, with only the good ol' US of A still willing to provide fresh meat.
Or maybe that was all part of their cunning plan? Fewer complaints from students whinging about their non-American gaijin instructors... :evil:
