W5 Nagoya office

Unread post by T.D. » Tue Apr 04, 2017 4:44 am

Was just thinking back to the old contract days in Nagoya and got to wondering, who was the Hungarian / Romanian / whatever arrogant bastard that ran that office? Last I heard W5 went under. Was actually not a bad place to work (Compared to Nova). Some pretty decent employees there. Nami Shibata, etc. were damn nice and overworked. Anyone know the story about them shutting down?

Interesting that they went under. I worked for them in Osaka once. Not a bad bunch.

Did they have an office in Osaka or did you work out of the Nagoya office? Really, they weren't too bad at all. As long as you did your job they pretty much left you alone.

I interviewed with them once. Part of the interview involved bringing me around to the school where I would have been placed to meet the principal. I can't remember the name of the girl that brought me there, but she had only been on the job for a few weeks. Anyway, the principal tore into her over some minor issue, ranting and raving, reducing her to tears. Being the gentleman that I am, I consoled her in the school parking lot. I never took the job, however...

Mogura, Was that at the Nagoya office? If so, It may have been Nami Shibata. She had just started there when I was there, which was probably about the same time as you

I was in Toyoda IIRC. It was just an interview (just down there for a day) and so long ago. All I really remember is that the girl kinda was short and seemed nice. Well, I suppose that could be any chick in Japan...

Damn, I worked in Toyoda. Long ass commute. Had a car that was parked there to drive to school after I got off the train. Nice town though. How the Hell did we never meet up Mogura?

I never took the job, and I wasn't living anywhere close to the area...
