Re: Thanks for the good times

The facebook group is a good idea. Personally, I had enough of facebook a few years ago and quit it. There is another option... Line groups. Anyone interested in that?

Re: Thanks for the good times

Ten years after the End of Nova... the end of LJ. As I said to the man himself this sucks! But if you look at the number of posts recently it just makes sense. Id like to thank everyone for their contributions over the years.

Re: Lifes little gripes II

I get the last gripe! LJ shutting down sucks! Ive been a member since 2001 but I know a lot of people are the same or even longer. Take care all. Locking this thread forever now.

Was rather amusing seeing him storming down from the box. As if that would make any difference! Wonder if he is friends with Anothony Mundine and all those delightful egos. It wont be long until they gove him the boot. Shitty coaching record!

Looks like one bitcoin just topped $8000 USD and in yen just over 920 000. Some people are saying it will go even higher. Can only sit and watch.

Re: Bitcoin stuff

Fair enough. Yes it is risky indeed. This is why Im not too keen on putting say half a million in it. Keep the whole lot under 200 000 and if I lose it it isnt too painful.

Bitcoin stuff

I took the plunge and invested a bit in Crypto currencies. So far it seems that unless you invest a large amount the returns are marginal at best. Bitflyer is fairly easy to use. Ive tried the following so far: - Bitcoin - Ether - Ether classic - Bitcoin cash - Mona Coin - Litecoin For some reason e...

Re: NHK 2017 thread

Bump! Just got a letter from NHK saying that I must sign a contract with them asap. "Please fill in your details and return them to us by Nov 26th." Put it straight in the bin! Since coming back to Japan in early 2006, I have refused to make a contract with them. After the last visit, I reckon they ...

Net issues at work today. Yahoo application we use to list on the auctions decided to stop working. It told you to sign in again but when you did it wouldnt load properly then asked the same thing again. Strange thing was I could list directly off my phone, just not when using wifi to do it. Double ...

Re: What's new?

Crazy isnt it. The reality is that the elderly are being asked to work and hired by companies to do so. My wife is working in geriactric care and she can literally quit her job tomorrow and get a new better job in days. Maybe even hours! No shit!

Re: What's new?

Another week in the bag. Ive got no plans for the weekend. Might be pulling a navigation out of a Hiace we bought for a customer in NZ. Apart from that nothing doing. Japan is fucking weird now. There are jobs everywhere! In local restaurants they are hiring everywhere you go and at one place I saw ...

Re: What was your family's main car when you were little?

I just sold my Legacy I bought two years ago. Macs talking about selling for almost the same price originally bought for reminded me! Got about 10000 yen less than I paid for it 2 years ago. Crazy shit! You never hear about someone almost breaking even on a used car. LOL

Then the Nissan Prairie

After the Prairie we got this model Pajero. Lasted for years and then go onsold and we got another Pajero.

Bledisloe time again. Last night was a clobbering by the ABs. Beauden Barrett is disappointing with his shitty kicking. SURELY there is someone else that can step in with better goal kicking. 50 odd percent just isnt good enough at this level.

Well it is time for me to upgrade my car situation. I was hoping to do this next year or something but a really nice 2015 Subaru Levorg (new Legacy) came along and I cant resist! Got a 5 year unlimited KM warranty with it too. Check it out. http://sl.uploads.im/t/dmkJy.jpg http://sl.uploads.im/t/hjf...

Simply not true to say that. Medical malpractice? Yes according to the article. Would be interesting to see the hospitals side of things. He stopped taking his medication? Need more information about that as well. Also, why is his American citizenship being kept in the background? Why cant they just...

In the end, way way way too many mistakes. The Allblacks are a shit team right now. They are vunerable and need to be humbled as they were last week.

As a long time supporter I have to say this... Fuck off Sonny Bill you should be banned from selection. Dumb arse!

For the love of Mike! There are some absolute morons on the road here. Case in point (and I will upload this later to youtube) chick of about 22 or so on a scooter decides to overtake a slow truck on a quiet backstreet. Sees me coming the opposite way but goes across the painted unbroken yellow line...

What's new?

Very quiet around here lately! Ill start!

Just had my 41st bday yesterday. Went out with a few close friends and had Shabu Shabu at Sato. They have a deal on self service bar with a pour your own beer machine. It is about 1100 yen including tax for two hours all-you-can-drink. Just awesome! Loved it!
