OK, turns out I need to add at least one person to make an FB group. Do any of you want to tell me your real name so I can get it set up? PM me if so... Ralphie, My Name's Rich Grandy. I live in Atlanta. Go ahead and use me to set up the FB page. EDIT: Just read the rest of the thread, nevermind.

Re: The North Korea Question

Several weeks ago the US went on the record saying they stand by and will support Japan 100%, so that's good, but damn, shit's escalating quick with NK. Apparently they are readying an attack on Guam now. Time for China to step in and help get this shit under control. Feel bad for all the N Koreans ...

Japan population shrinking even more

Interesting quick read. https://japantoday.com/category/nationa ... since-1968

This can't help the eikaiwa industry certainly, but with the workforce shrinking may help foreigners land other jobs there.

Fuck me I'm old. turning 48 in 2 weeks. Junken Master, it took me a few years to adjust to life back in the states as well. Guessing it's normal and bet most of us went through that. Wife and I bought a nice travel trailer and been enjoying getting the hell outta dodge, grilling, drinking and fishin...

Mogura, Was that at the Nagoya office? If so, It may have been Nami Shibata. She had just started there when I was there, which was probably about the same time as you

Interesting that they went under. I worked for them in Osaka once. Not a bad bunch.
Did they have an office in Osaka or did you work out of the Nagoya office? Really, they weren't too bad at all. As long as you did your job they pretty much left you alone.

W5 Nagoya office

Was just thinking back to the old contract days in Nagoya and got to wondering, who was the Hungarian / Romanian / whatever arrogant bastard that ran that office? Last I heard W5 went under. Was actually not a bad place to work (Compared to Nova). Some pretty decent employees there. Nami Shibata, et...

Can't believe he pulled this off. Especially considering the rigged DNC primary and all of the money she got in donations. Her support of Black Lives Matters and not supporting the military or police and the way she screwed over Bernie Sanders and rigged the debates didn't help I'm sure. Then again,...

I think I was quite possibly in the best shape of my life in Japan. I had a car and a scooter but still did a ton of walking and bike riding everywhere. The food was the best I've ever had, but I ate smaller portions, even the snacks I ate less. In the states here I struggle to keep the damn weight ...

Mon, Tue and Thursdays are all exclusively third-grade classes, Wednesday and Friday are all first-graders. I feel so sorry for the last class on each day be...
